Special Exhibition

Many important artists maintain homes and studios in the Setagaya area. The Setagaya Art Exhibition was initiated in 1978 to provide a place where artists could have opportunities for friendly exchanges and learning regardless of group affiliation or type of work. This is the eighteenth of these annual exhibitions to be held at the Setagaya Art Museum.
Bringing together the recent work, including painting, sculpture, prints, and crafts, of artists living in Setagaya, it provides a glimpse into the activities of a large group of interesting artists.
