Overview

The Tokyu Ōimachi, Meguro, and Tōyoko lines, rooted in the development of the suburban Tokyo during the Taisho and early Showa Period, have exerted a lasting influence on the Setagaya cityscape. This exhibition traces the work and relationships of artists and other cultural figures who lived along the train lines, including Murai Masanari, and Miyamoto Saburo.
