We Are All Alive! Animals in the Museum Forest:

Overview

Since time immemorial, human beings have lived side by side with a host of different creatures, including dogs, cats, birds, cows, and horses. Many artists have used these familiar animals as motifs in their works. In this exhibition, we draw on the museum collection to present works from many ages and areas that depict animals in myriad ways. We hope that you will enjoy these paintings and sculptures of animals, who are our companions, and at times, the bearers of our hopes. Along with special online content, designed with the post-Covid lifestyle in mind, and workshops and other related events are also scheduled during the exhibition.

*Admission for visitors with disabilities is 300yen. Students with disabilities, and one attendant per visitor with disabilities are admitted free of charge.
