The 2016 exhibition Five Stories from the Collection presented paintings by French naïve artists along with a wide range of other works, with a focus on stories relating to art and daily life. The current exhibition features a reconfiguration of the contents of that show. Today, with society being shaken to its very foundations, the way works of art appear to us and our impressions of the stories they tell have radically changed, and the messages conveyed by these works may resonate even more clearly. We hope you will enjoy re-reading their stories once more in a new light.
