KIYOKAWA Taiji: Works in Magazines, Books, and Newspapers

Overview

As a professional painter, KIYOKAWA Taiji also provided designs and illustrations for books, magazines, and other printed media. This exhibition introduces a variety of such works, ranging from cover art for Gunzo magazine (published by Kodansha) and designs for books such as Sumai no bunka shi (published by Misawa Homes Institute of Research and Development) to originals, on public view for the first time, of his illustrations for the newspaper Yomiuri shinbun.
