Mukai Junkichi: Waterside Scenes

Overview

Houses with thatched roofs stand at water's edge. Such scenes are perhaps a testament to the fact that water provides people with a rich life. This exhibition presents a collection of everyday landscapes along the shores of rivers and seas, which Mukai depicted on visits to various locations all over Japan.
