Outsider Arts

Overview

After presenting Parallel Visions: Modern Artists and Outsider Art", an exhibition of artists from Japan and other countries with mental disabilities, the Setagaya Art Museum began to collect "outsider art". This exhibition presents work from the museum collection along with artworks provided by CREAHM (Creativity and Mental Disabilities), a non-profit organization that has long supported the activities of artists with disabilities in Belgium. It will be an exhibition worth seeing."
