Overview

After moving to the U.S. in 1951, Kiyokawa began devoting himself to abstraction. This exhibition concentrates on the artist's experimental paintings in which color fields and lines intersect in complex ways. The works were produced between Kiyokawa's first visit to the U.S. and his second visit in 1963.
