THE WORLD OF TAKAHASHI SHU

Overview

Takahashi Shu (1930- ) began working as an artist in the 1950s and in 1963 went to Italy on a government grant. Based in Italy since then, he has created a unique artistic world. This exhibition is taken from the large collection of his prints that has recently been donated to Setagaya Art Museum. A portrait of Takamine Hideko by Umehara Ryuzaburo is also shown.
