Musashino Through Photographers’ Eyes, and the Photography of Mukai Junkichi

Overview

A look at works by photographers SHIMADA Kinsuke, MOROOKA Koji, and TANUMA Takeyoshi on the theme of Musashino, the plain extending west from Tokyo. Also on exhibit for the first time are prints, selected by photographer KANEMURA Osamu, from negatives of unpublished photos taken by MUKAI Junkichi for his paintings of traditional minka houses. New images of Musashino captured by Kanemura are also featured.

* Prices in parentheses ( ) refer to group rates for groups of 20 or more people.
* High school and older students, seniors 65 and over, and people with special certificates should present their ID at the entrance.
* Holders of current Special Exhibition tickets may view this Museum Collection exhibition free of charge.
* Visitors with public assistance receipt certificates are admitted to Museum Collection exhibitions free of charge upon presentation of their certificate at the entrance.
