Examples of the human figure in painting, focusing on the work of naïve painters, including Henri Rousseau. Various ways of depicting the figure – naïve, realistic, and geometric – are presented for your enjoyment. The work of Iino Nobuya, lively depictions of farmers in woodblock prints, is displayed in the small fan-shaped exhibition room.
