Saburo Aso and his contemporaries in Setagaya

Overview

A display focusing on newly acquired work by Aso Saburo and artists who were closely associated with him such as Yamaguchi Kaoru, Mori Yoshio, Murai Masanari, and Yanagihara Yoshitatsu. In the small, fan-shaped exhibition room is a display of artwork and documents connected with Murayama Tomoyoshi, a major prewar avant-garde artist, which have been recently added to the collection.
